I am a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, an IEEE member, and a member of Tech.AI – Technion Artificial Intelligence Hub. My research is centered on Swarm Intelligence, Distributed Control of Multi-Agent Systems, and Distributed Task Allocation. In particular, I study the application of Machine Learning methods, with an emphasis on Supervised and Reinforcement Learning, to improve the performance of traditional planning algorithms.
I received my PhD in Computer Science from the Technion, under the supervision of Professor Alfred M. Bruckstein. I hold both an MSc and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on robotics, design, and manufacturing, which provided a solid foundation in engineering and supports my interdisciplinary research. During my MSc studies, under the supervision of the late Professor Yeshiva Yarnitsky, I developed Ariel, an automated diamond-bruting machine that was adopted by the Israeli diamond industry.
